History

In 1985, William “Dan” Walker founded Walker & Associates CPAs, P.C. in Gainesville, GA. Over the years the firm has grown and developed a strong reputation with clients for professionalism and personal service.

Personal Service

The small size of our firm ensures our entire staff is focused directly on the needs of our clients. There is no traditional “chain of command,” such as clients often encounter with larger organizations.

Professionalism

We consider the quality of the service we provide to be of utmost importance. To ensure that our standards are maintained at the highest level, we have a formal internal review process that all client work must follow before it is allowed to leave our office. In addition, we participate in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Peer Review Program. The Peer Review Program requires an external review of the quality of our firm’s work. Walker Pierce & Tuck has consistently received an unqualified report, which is the program’s highest rating.

Intangibles

We consider the human element to be our greatest asset, so we have always strived to obtain quality people to work in our firm. We encourage them to excel in their training as accountants and auditors and provide them with highest quality work environment. Consequently, our staff turnover is very low; we have had no professional staff turnover in over three years. We believe this staff stability allows us to provide services in a minimum amount of time with a high degree of professionalism.
