William “Dan” Walker began his career as an officer in the U.S. Army after graduating from North Georgia College & State University with a bachelor’s degree in physics.
After completing his service to our country Dan retired from the Army as a veteran of the Vietnam War. He then moved on to work in the private sector holding management positions with several large international companies. During this time, Dan returned to college and obtained an MBA from Georgia State University. As a result of his decision to become a CPA, Dan returned to North Georgia State College and University for additional post graduate work in accounting. After completing his accounting education, Dan quickly completed the testing and experience requirements to become a licensed CPA in Georgia.
Dan has over 25 years of experience as a CPA in public practice, serving clients in a broad range of industries: non-profit, government, small business, medical, retail and restaurant. He specializes in employee benefit plan administration, small business, governmental and nonprofit auditing, consulting and tax preparation.
Mr. Walker is a member of the AICPA, Georgia Society of CPAs, Georgia Finance Officers Association, and a member of the AICPA Employee Benefit Quality Audit Center, and the AICPA Governmental Audit Quality Center.
